Good Fortune Market has yet to replace or repair their white fence to bring property back to pre-construction conditions.

Loud 18 wheeler truck delivery at 06:30 at the Good Fortune Market. I believe truck deliveries are not permitted so early in this area.

Sidewalk in need of repair due to tree roots in front of 23 Richard St. Cracks getting larger and causing a tripping hazard.

Something needs to be done with the lights allowing traffic out of North Quincy Station. Traffic on Hancock St consistently blocks the intersection, preventing vehicles from exiting out of the station, and extremely short light timing doesn't help at all! This is a daily issue around rush hour. The problem has been exacerbated given the current construction activity. In addition, whoever the Quincy Police detail was for the construction at the intersection of Hunt and Hancock St did nothing to help the situation today (March 31, 2015), preferring to chat with construction crew and content to watch traffic get completely snarled up to the point that nothing moved. Glad he was getting paid to do his job.

Good Fortune Market using loud front loader until 11:15 PM. Given that they are likely about to start framing out their new construction, I'm guessing they will likely continue to ignore city noise ordinances. This is unacceptable.

Snow removal still not complete on Quincy Ave! The stretch of road on the side for Olindy's and Good Fortune Market still has dangerous snow banks, limiting the roadway to one lane and blocking views from side roads. This situation is unacceptable, having gone on so long!

Why is it the entire length of Hancock St has lanes clears of snow but Quincy Ave along the entire length near the Kam Man is basically 1 lane each way still. We don't matter down this end? Side streets intersecting Quincy Ave, like Richard St still have huge banks blocking views to both sides. This is hazardous to driving. It is unacceptable to have gone this long without something being done!

Access from Richard St to Quincy Ave is hindered by enormous snow banks that are impossible to see around in either direction. This is extremely dangerous and can result in serious accidents. In addition, one pass at a time with the plow doesn't really cut it. Residents of Richard St would also benefit from at least one application of sand or ice melt.

Another loud truck delivery to Good Fortune Market at 6:00 AM. Noise from this business is becoming a nuisance to local residents.

Another very loud 18-wheeler delivery to the Good Fortune market, or related to their current construction at 5:30 AM! This is very disruptive to residential units surrounding the market. Obviously, market ownership cares nothing for the quality of life for the neighborhood. Something needs to be done about these noise issues.

Loud 18-wheeler deliver truck at 5:30AM at the Good Fortune Market. This is certainly a nuisance to residential units surrounding the market.

Construction noise at the Good Fortune Asian Market is making it impossible to simply live in the comfort of our home. No noise reduction mitigation is in use at all. It is impossible to get our baby to nap, and forget it if someone happens to be home during the day. They should have some noise mitigation in use to reduce impact to the residential properties that surround the market. Noise levels are borderline dangerous to unprotected individuals, like the local residents surrounding the market.

Possible illegal stairway being constructed at the end it Richard St on Housing Authority Property. This is at the end I'd Richard St where it leads toward Martensen St. Likely quite a liability for the property owner. This is being built by a bunch of people, not some contractor. Just wanted to provide the heads up.

It has been over 2 weeks since National Grid installed gas lines on Richard St. The road patch is incomplete. They need to come and finish patching the street.

According to code, retaining walls over 4ft in height require permit and proper inspection. Neither has been done, to the neighborhood's knowledge, for the pictured wall recently constructed at 17 Quincy Terrace. This is the view from Richard St. In addition, the mess associated with this property owner's activities, not to mention their back yard, has become a nuisance.
  • 17 Quincy Terrace Quincy Ma - Quincy
Owner of 17 Quincy Terrace appears to have cut down what may be a city owned tree at the dead end of Richard St. Other shade trees in the wood lot seem to have been removed by this same property owner. Someone should determine if the Quincy tree ordinances have been violated. In addition, is there any code for posting no dumping signs such as the one posted by this same property owner? Thank you.

Are 18-wheelers legally allowed to overnight in a supermarket parking lot? One has been doing so rather often in the Good Fortune Market (230 Quincy Ave), idling quite loudly. Given the residential properties around the market, one would think some additional zoning requirements would be needed for the market to act as a 24-hour truck stop.

Salt needed on Richard St. Snow removal was not done very well on Richard St. We need salt or sand.
