It is totally up to you but I would not use my real name on this site because you do not know who is viewing these posts and how they may react. Also if this was not a drug deal you could have opened yourself to a lawsuit. By doing this it will change the screen name that appears on this post and future ones
The police hardly if ever monitor this site, it would be better if you reported this to the police district manager for this area. Also you do not know who views theses posts so you may have alerted people who may be doing something illegal to be more careful and if there is a police undercover operations in force you could have hampered it.
You should also be careful when taking a photos because if noticed it can cause major problems if noticed

The police hardly if ever monitor this site it would be better if you called the police district manager for this area. If there is something illegal going on you may have warned the people involved to be more careful and if there is an undercover operation in force you could have hampered it.

I would like to add if this was something innocent you may be opening yourself to legal problems, another reason why it is better to call the police district manger. Also be careful when taking photos because if noticed you do not know how someone may react

Thank you for your input, I did change my name.
However, you have ZERO idea that I have been dealing with this issue for 14 years. I do this regularly. Calling the Police does NOTHING. Shaming and identifying works as well as anything else. I KNOW what a drug deal is AND looks like. I am in NO FEAR of legal entanglements. I do not care if the picture I take offends someone or anyone.This was right outside my house, less than 25 feet away. I will continue to take pictures, identify and shame. I have worked with the Police in the past on this issue. THIS is how it got their attention.

I have been dealing with the dealers for 14 years and by this method, put a stop tp most of them. Businesses should know what their employees ae doing with their vehicles. Thank you

He wasn't saying See Click Fix has been around for 14 years. He's been saying the drug dealers have been around that long. The point is the drug dealers think this spot is for them. People are tired of cleaning the drug baggies off the playground equipment so their kids can play!

Reread my posts and please tell me how I was not acting like an adult? I was giving my opinions and what I thought would be the best way to handle this. You mention how you dealt with this in the past, you are lucky they did not have a weapon and used it on you.

Danfan - Thanks for posting and speaking up! This happens in lots of places in New Haven. Used to be that dealers sold out of a house and it was easy to identify over time. Now the dealer and user use technology/smartphones to do a quick meet and greet. And poof in 2 minutes they are gone.

Thank you Denny. I choose to ignore him now. Reminds me of a little kid, annoying and always has to get the last word whether we care or not. This XYZ individual needs to get a life of their own. Believe it or not XYZ there are those of us who are intelligent adults.
